Democracy is the bubbling of shit. What rises to the top hardens and forms a crust. If the bubbling is strong enough, the crust breaks and doesn't solidify. If the bubbling is weak, the top can harden, and then the whole society gradually turns into a solid heap of shit. Politicians are interested in promoting the ideas of democracy because they distract the people from the real solution to managing society, where politicians play a secondary role. What society truly needs is a free, just, inexpensive, and effective resolution of internal conflicts, that is, a well-functioning independent legal system. It is obvious that such a system still has to be based on the common values of the society itself, which seems to be the same as "shitty" values. However, there is a big difference here: in one case, these are the natural values of an individual person at the very low personal level. In the other case, they are generalized values, transformed by propaganda, distorted by misinterpretation, and imposed by authoritative opinions. Often, the latter have remote common traits with the personal needs of the people who form society.
